MicroPen Evo- a Health Canada approved device using a cartridge containing 14 sterile needles that pulses/glides over the skin causing “microinjury”. This stimulates more collagen and elastin to help rejuvenate the skin significantly improving texture, tone and colour.

What is microneedling?
Microneedling is offered as a facial using a device that has a single use sterile cartridge that has 14 needles that pulses and glides on the skin. The needles only go into the skin at a depth of 0.25-1cm and punctures the skin thousands of times creating “micro-injuries”. This promotes more collagen and elastin in the healing process which can help tighten skin, regenerate tissue and improve overall texture, tone and colour.
Does Microneedling hurt?
We apply a topical numbing cream all over the face to numb before the treatment for maximum comfort. Some areas are more sensitive than others but the treatment is pretty fast, about 10-15 minutes. Afterwards you can expect your skin to be red with some pinpoint bleeding in areas and just slightly sensitive. An aftercare package is provided.
What is PRP?
PRP is short for platelet-rich plasma, known as “Liquid Gold”. We draw your blood and put the tube in a centrifuge that spins for 10 minutes, separating the PRP. PRP is known for its growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area.
What are the benefits?
When injected under the eye, it thickens the skin by stimulating elastin and collagen production. This helps lighten dark circles, improves fine lines/wrinkles and tightens the skin, creating a more refreshed and youthful under-eye area.
When injected into the scalp, it helps create thicker hair strands and stimulates hair growth from dormant or slow growing follicles. This causes fuller looking hair at the root, disguising the scalp.
When microneedled into the skin it adds further regeneration with optimal results of tightening skin, regenerating tissue and improving overall texture, tone and colour.
How many treatments are needed?
3 treatments are required for best results spaced 1 month apart. Then, 1 treatment every 6-9 months to maintain results.
